NMSU's total sponsored program expenditures exceeded $194 million.The University anchors the southern end of New Mexico's Rio Grande Research Corridor and is home to the Clinton P. Anderson Physical Science Laboratory. Since 1926, the University has been accredited by the Higher Learning Commission of the North Central Association of Colleges and Secondary Schools.
